LOL - WorldS: Thus would be the worldwide with the dual-elimination format

The First phase of the world has come to an end with sour taste for Europeans, since it has only been Mad Lions the team classified at quarterfinals. Many people have begun to criticize this outdated format , since they think that it is not at all fair and they have reiterated the system that is valid in lec, lcs and lp : the system of Double elimination . For many it is the fairer , since it gives you a second chance that you almost get it and give much more game to the most important international tournament in League of Legends. Well, a Reddit user has idealized as the worldwide would be with this format.

It has been the user Facehunt who has performed the format with the teams of the World Cup that we can see just up, trying to be as just as possible . This is how the Bracket has organized as a result of the results of the group phase , although this could change if we cut it so that the position is not so heavy or directly on these formats are issued from Championship Points Getting in the respective leagues of the equipment. From this, what remains to be decided is if we opted for better than 3 or better than 5.

Although the Best of 5 is the most normalized, it is true that it can be done quite heavy for the equipment of the bracket s like Rogue or PSG TALON. That is why we have thought about doing it in a better than 3 to a certain extent to pass later to a better 5; More than anything to make it much more dynamic and less tedious. Thus, teams such as FNATIC, FPX or 100 Thieves would have the opportunity to get away from the beginning, really demonstrating who is the best through a better of 5 pure and hard instead of a group stage that can Be very volatile for some.
