Simulation and graphic effects of water have been completely converted on all maps. The new simulation system can create waves of any shape and height, also increasing reality associated with their movement. This means that the waves will now gently rock the ship, and this in turn will generate a return reaction depending on the height of the wave. This change will not affect the gameplay.
We have improved the display of sun reflections on water and other optical effects on the water surface. Dynamic sea foam was added, and a wake effect was updated.
We introduce a huge update for all maps and ports, taking into account improved HD textures. Update 0.10.10 Added textures with high detail on maps Two brothers and a hot point, as well as in the ports of the Philippines, Saint Petersburg and Twitch Prime.
Future updates will implement detailed textures on other maps and ports. However, as in the case of HDR lighting, such an update requires a huge amount of content and an individual approach to any map and port. For this reason, the use of new technology for all maps and ports in the game will take some time and will be implemented gradually, along with the introduction of future updates.
We continue to improve the underwater environment in our game. In the update 0.10.10, we added underwater vegetation on maps two brothers and a hot point. The underwater environment will also appear on the Map of the Marina, Sleeping Giant and Alpha scrap. In the next updates, we will focus on adding improvements to underwater areas also on other maps.
Vegetation has been improved on all maps and in all ports. The trees look more realistically thanks to the corrected shading and sunshine, piercing through the leaves. We also converted the wind interaction with trees. We have added more trees and other green areas on maps.
In ports and on maps with HD textures, birds, fish, floating flags and other moving objects have now appeared. With time, we will add more and more animated objects on maps and in ports.
